What does it take to be a performance tester?
While manual testing deals with the UI or business layer of an application, performance testing deals with complex low-level issues.
That’s why performance engineering is a discipline where one has to deal with many technological challenges. You need to understand how web services, mobile or web application, your database behaves or monitor software’s infrastructure to understand hidden problems. One day, you will deal with business teams to understand performance KPI’s.
All those challenges are going to build up a gigantic monster that performance engineer has to fight. I’ll talk about what a performance engineer will face during a project and some tips to overcome them.
Canberk Akduygu’s speech will be on November 18th at 10:55 AM. You can see more details about the program by clicking here.
